Hi I am trying to pull off some pretty bloody scenes like slitting someones throat and I was wondering how to do that and make it realistic but also cheap.
What was the hardest part in making the film '30 days of night', and what is the best program for video editing to make the kind of effects used in the film?

Hey, how do you manage working with all of the actors, without overextending yourself? (I know sometimes it's a hassle working with actors who just don't get it.) And what types of angles are better for which genres of film? What about for the whole wide-screen vs. full-screen... Which is better?
